My successor asked me to make some suggestions and I probably overstepped by just changing stuff directly and asking him what he thought of the changes. I am very surprised by the number of 3-pointers taken by Lacombe...if he was open, he should have hit more. Anyways, a win is a win, but this one could have been better.

Things are starting to work okay, and the teams that beat MSU turned out to be okay, really. Still, this team shouldn't have lost 4 games in OOC play.

A win, but disturbingly close. Russo has been disappointing thus far, which makes no sense whatsoever. He's a guard with an overall rating above 900, entirely legitimately...high speed, athleticism, rebounding, perimeter, ballhandling, passing, stamina...he's got a B+ in every part of our system. Why isn't he performing better?

A tremendous win against one of the best teams in the country, according to RPI. This game marked the switch to the fullcourt press and there were stretches of the game where it was absolutely dominant (to the point that the Gophers didn't even get off a shot). This might have been an anomaly, but wow. Let's see what happens.

Good win against a team with a solid RPI. The defense is downright scary as a Fullcourt Press, at least at the moment. It's about time!

The advice that was given to me regarding this team was clearly revolutionary. It seems to have awoken the sleeping giant that is Michigan State basketball.

The defense was enough to win this game, but the offense could have been considerably better for the Spartans.
