Notre Dame is tougher than their record would suggest, but not anywhere near as tough as this box score would suggest. Just one of those games, I guess, where I caught a bad one and they caught a good one. This was winnable, but not the way we played it.

Both teams played a slowdown here. I'm not quite sure why I did, but it worked out fine. We won the game on the back of a guard, instead of our bigs, which is unusual. Regardless, a win away from home is always good (unless it's really bad for your RPI).

This is a day late. Big home win versus Iowa. The press worked even if our offense was on the ugly side. I don't know where our RPI and SOS were as a result of this, but I think this game assured us a spot in the NT for the first time in my tenure (and since Season 21).
