Posts like this from Spud saying that multiple EEs are declining as expected and therefore nothing needs to be done. As expected.

so which is it? Is it not an issue because fewer teams are getting EEs or is it not an issue because teams ARE still getting EEs.
Truthfully, both.

1. Fewer teams are getting multiple EE
2. Some teams are still getting multiple EE

It's less of a problem because fewer teams have to deal with multiple EE but it's still possible to accumulate enough young talent to get multiple EE.

Sounds like the streets are paved with gold and candy jars are at every stoplight!!!
This game would be better if along with gold and candy jars there were hookers on the streets at every stoplight.
The hookers are on the side streets. Where the recruiting happens. Mom sees the candy jars, Jimmy Hoops gets the hookers when momma goes home.

It's not an issue because fewer teams are dealing with multiple EEs; the ones that are benefitted from excellent 3.0 classes, recruited with the full knowledge of the costs and risks associated with elite commodities in the new system.

I suspect no one has said what you're claiming, that no one would have multiple EEs anymore.
and recruited with full knowledge that in November admin said they were working on improvement to EE announcement. waiting.
Sure, but they never said you'd get the resources for them earlier. I agree it would be nice to have them announce early for planning purposes.

Has anyone asked via CS ticket? I suspect there is some data or coding hold-up. It's also possible that they changed their minds.

You really have ANY faith they know what to do?

How come a simple thing like the Smith National Champions listing hasn't been updated since season #89?

Hi Chris,

This is a known issue that we are reviewing.

Thank you!

I asked a month ago and they said they were working on it

Not clear what "it" will be - but even earlier info alone would help when you have hard to predict/unexpected EEs

I will decide whether to continue playing the game after giving it a fair trial and after I see what - if any - adjustments to 3.0 are forthcoming reasonably soon

reasonably soon

I hope you are aware the definition of reasonably soon is different for WIS Employees and the rest of the world

Granted, I've only ever played HD during the 3.0 era but if the 2.0 era was anything like it currently is in GD then good riddance! GD is awful. I really really enjoy HD the way it is.

Gee, you two rocket surgeons you, I can't tell how you responded to the topic. Cases of multiple EE's are declining, as expected. Not to zero though, also as expected.
Really?.....care to share the facts to back that up. or will you just continue to blow smoke out your ***...
yeah, observationally, I don't think instances of multiple EEs have declined much, if at all. I actually thought they would decline, but i think what happened was the EE-caliber players are still going to the elite schools about the same as they did in HD2...but the lesser BCS schools are losing their EE-caliber players to mid-majors. just observationally though, no data here either..

For what it's worth, last drafts in the worlds I play in...

Allen:
23 EEs drafted
4 sophs (recruited in 3.0), none from teams with multiple EEs
4 teams lost multiple EEs to the draft (BC lost 3, the rest 2 each)

Smith:
29 EEs drafted
8 sophs, 1 freshman drafted. OK St lost two sophs recruited in 3.0
8 teams lost multiple EEs, none more than 2

Naismith:
28 EEs drafted
14 sophs drafted, recruited in 3.0. UK lost 2 sophs
7 teams lost multiple EEs, none more than 2

Phelan (2-a-day world, all EEs moving forward are recruited in 3.0):
29 EEs drafted
2 sophs, 27 juniors
6 teams lost multiple EEs, none more than 2

Of course, there could have been some undrafted EEs, I don't know how common they are, and I don't know of a way to track.

Solid research. This is just the way college basketball is. The 2016 NBA Draft had 59 early entrants (not including foreigners) and 29 were drafted. So HD has it pretty much spot on.

someone please correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm pretty sure 100% of EEs in this game are drafted

You may be right. Someone had mentioned the possibility in conference chat a few seasons ago, but I've never seen it.

2.0 was not like gd

gd got terriblle a while back

2.0 had important needs for improvement

I believe that anyone who announces as an EE gets drafted based on my experience and what I have read
