I'm curious what is the highest single season improvement a player has had to date? The highest reported that I've found has been
146 with 140 being a common answer in other threads such as
here and
here. However, I don't always trust the search engine on WIS as you need exact wording (where it will still be somewhat unreliable).
I'm mainly interested as I have a freshman center,
Jesse Butler, on my UVA team who is cruising in improvements. We're 16 games into the regular season and he's improved 90 points. He started with green in ATH, SPD, DEF, BLK, LP, BH, and DUR and blue in ST. He still has green in LP and blue in SPD, DEF, BLK, and BH. I'm expecting a slow down in pace but I'm interested to see how he stacks up all-time against other D1 players (or players of any level - just specifying D1 as they start closer to the 'ceiling' than typical D2 and D3 recruits).
