About Us

WhatIfSports.com, Inc. originally started in 1999 as a site designed to simulate games between past and present sports teams. What if the '90-91 UNLV Runnin' Rebels played the '00-01 Duke Blue Devils? What if the '95 Chicago Bulls team played the 2002 Lakers? How would the 1975 Reds fare against the 1927 New York Yankees? What if the '85 Bears played the '96 Packers or the '02 Red Wings played the '76 Canadiens?

Today, we remain the Internet's foremost authority on sports simulations. In addition to the content and games produced and published on WhatIfSports.com, we're also the exclusive simulation content provider for Major League Baseball. In addition to MLB, we also have strategic partnerships with ESPN, the NHL and TSN.ca.

Currently, membership to our site and use of the SimMatchup engine for all sports are free, while we earn revenue through the sale and maintenance of our competitive, critically acclaimed SimLeagues games, which allow you to draft and manage your favorite players from not just today, but yesterday as well. With over 250,000 users worldwide running simulations and participating in over 15,000 full-season MLB, NBA, NFL and NHL leagues a year to go along with our college basketball (Hoops Dynasty) and college football (Gridiron Dynasty) games, we reach a large audience, but still see room for growth.
